2023 Venter Estate SUSARA Pinot Noir - Carneros

From the cool, mist-kissed vineyards of Carneros, the 2023 Venter Estate SUSARA Pinot Noir captures the elegance and finesse of our estate with both poise and presence. In the glass, it displays a translucent garnet hue, drawing you in with delicate aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, and rose petal, followed by subtle whispers of forest floor, baking spice, and a wisp of fresh briar.

On the palate, this wine strikes a beautiful balance: bright acidity lifts flavors of Bing cherry, raspberry compote, and cranberry, interwoven with notes of cinnamon bark, clove, and a gentle earthiness that grounds the fruit. Silky, fine-grained tannins give structure without weight, leading into a long, graceful finish where vanilla bean and a touch of cedar emerge.

Crafted in small lots from our estate-grown fruit, the wine was aged in French oak barrels, in a process that carefully preserves the vineyard’s expressive fruit and Carneros’ signature cool‐climate nuance.
